Gare du Nord : Séjour à durée moyenne à Paris

Positive: The apartment looks like the pictures. It was literally steps away from Gare du Nord, so easy access to transportation around the city. Maison Bayat is across the street and delicious. Negative: We arrived on January 2, 2026. As I stated before, the inside of the apartment looks like the pictures, but the building was extremely worn on the inside with exposed wires by the front door of the apartment and just a lack of care to the building overall. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear EVERYTHING from outside, upstairs, and in the hallway. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. The shower curtain was disgusting, so moldy you could smell it as soon as you stepped into the shower. I sent pictures, and someone brought a new curtain the next morning. Great! We had no wifi/internet from January 2nd to January 6th, no electricity from January 29th to January 30th, and no hot water from January 30th to February 2nd. It was between 37° and 30° Fahrenheit that weekend! I was told I would receive a partial refund for the days without hot water. Silence for days after that promise. I had to ask about the refund two more times before receiving it. They gave me €59.97 for THREE days without hot water in the middle of winter! I had to pay them more than that for walking out and allowing the door to close behind me! They charged me a €65 "travel fee" to come open the door for me after we waited in the cold hallway for over an hour. I would not recommend this apartment or the Made for You concierge agency.
